Ted M. Kravec, President is a Baldwin Wallace University graduate with 16+ years in the Employee Benefits area of insurance joining Lance & Co in 1996. He is member of the National Health Underwriters Association and a resident of Medina, and a member of the Kiwanis. He prides himself in providing professional service to the clients of Lance & Co.
Benefits Department
Connie McGuire joined Lance & Co in November 2000 as their Employer Benefit Representative with five year of prior experience. Her duties include making sure customers receive the appropriate medical benefits from their insurance company; mediating among insurance companies, doctors and insured; marketing new leads and renewals and preparing proposals.
Commercial Department
Shirley Allen is a licensed property and casualty agent/Customer Service Representative. Shirley has completed INS courses 21,22 and 23. With 27 years experience in commercial lines, she services all types of commercial policies, processes claims and handles general correspondence.
Kathy Thuener, is a licensed property and casualty agent/Customer Service Representative. She has been with Lance & Co. over 24 years. Kathy has an Associate degree from the University of Akron. Kathy services all types of commercial policies. Based on individual needs, Kathy recommends programs individual coverage and limits; advises insureds about potential insurance problems and how to eliminate them, processes claims and handles general correspondence between insureds and companies.
Personal Lines Department
Darla Broz is a licensed agent/Customer Service Representative. She has been in the insurance business for 26 years. Darla has been with Lance & Co. on a part-time basis for 7 years. She will be happy to quote a premium, make any necessary changes to your home and/or auto policy, or answer any coverage or billing concerns.
Kellie Light is a licensed agent/Customer Service Representative. She has been with Lance & Co for 15 years.
Mary Jo Garner has been with Lance & Co. for over 13 years. She graduated from the University of Akron with a Bachelor of Science degree and also has her life/health license. Mary Jo joined the personal lines department in 2001 working part-time.
Susan Shaw, CPIW has over 30 years experience as a licensed property and casualty agent and serves as one of our customer service representatives, where she services all types of personal automobile, homeowners, umbrella liability and recreational vehicle polices, based on individual needs. She obtained her Certified Professional Insurance Women's designation in 1986 as a member of the National Association of Insurance Women and completing the Insurance Institute of Americas INS courses.
